Summary
of Features
·
Display their current booking numbers,
·
Return to the week selector screen if they wish to change
weeks,
·
Review the status of their current timesheet,
·
Submit their timesheet (thereby assigning their electronic
signature and routing their timesheet to their approving
manager).
·
Enter their standard and overtime hours separately.
·
Submit their timesheet for authorisation.
· The Enter
Time and Clear Input Line buttons are what the users clicks
on to add/subtract time on their timesheet.
·
Time entry via dropdown boxes (optional).
On
completion of the timesheet, the user will "Submit Timesheet"
and the submission screen is shown giving a summary of the
time entered. This screen verifies that the contracted hours
of the individual have been worked.
1.
Proxy Timesheet - this function allows the input of
a timesheet in the absence of the individual by the individuals
administrator or manager.
2.
User Admin - The screen below allows the user to
specify their manager, administrator and the project or
client numbers they wish to include in their "Current Booking
Numbers". The screen includes the ability to search for
the numbers on either an alpha description or numerically,
with the added power of wildcard searches.
Booking
numbers and personnel information can be interfaced directly
from legacy systems. User can then use the Administration
screen to add booking numbers to their personal lists to
enable them to book time.
Help
-
this is the context sensitive help available throughout
the system. It also incorporates a quick guide to the use
of the system.
Reporting
These
are standard reports available to all users. Further reports
are available through designated user interfaces.
1.
Timesheet Authorisation - this area of the system
enables authorising managers to review, reject and authorise
timesheets for their staff.
2.
Missing Timesheets - this reporting facility provides
for a fast and effective method to view missing timesheet
information and timesheet status (Authorised/Unauthorised).
The screen below shows a typical report.
3.
Time & Cost Reports - designed to give managers a
quick view of the status of the bookings to a project or
client, this area of the system has proved a very popular
information source as it is virtually real time.
4.
Feedback - probably one of the most important elements
of the system from the designers point of view in almost
every implementation this facility has enabled the system
to be accepted by the workforce since it allows many requests
to be incorporated into the system.
