What is Spam?

What is POP E-mail?
POP e-mail accounts are "real" e-mail
accounts which store your messages on a server,
just like your ISP stores your e-mail for you. The
amount of email accounts you get depends on the
hosting plan you choose.
Why does outlook keep asking for a password when
I try to send and receive Email?
Your e-mail box requires authentication that it
is 'you' the user sending and receiving e-mail.

How do a make changes to my Web site?

web site and follow the online instructions on 'Editing
your site'.
Why is it that I could get free hosting from
some companies but Romsey Associates charge a higher
amount?
The hosting maybe free, but if you request a service
other than this they will charge you an absolute
fortune. We don't. Support, maintenance, hosting
and e-mail services can all be included.
Why do my sent Email get sent back to me with
an error message?
Many possible causes for this annoying yet small
problem. It could be a problem with either your
or their e-mail server. Or perhaps your e-mail application
(Outlook) is slightly configured wrongly. Or more
than likely the e-mail address has been entered
wrongly. Put in a support request and we will be
glad to help you.
I can't see my web site?
Firstly have you got a internet connection?!, If
so check that you are able to view other sites for
example "www.microsoft.com" if you are
able to view other sites the next thing you should
do is "ping" your site. This is done by
clicking "start"-"programs"-Accessories"
and then "command prompt" in the pop up
screen type in "ping www.(your site)"
and then press Enter. You will soon be able to see
if your site is working, if there is a bad response
make a request by going to Support on the Web site,
and we will contact you immediately.
What happens to my Email accounts when we transfer
from one hosting company to another?
Your Email accounts will stay exactly the same if
you are able to provide us with you usernames and
passwords, you will have to make a minor change
in the properties of the mailbox this is shown by
going to http://www.romseyassoc.com/Support/addemail.htm.
Will I have to pay a fee if I want to move my
Domain to another hosting company?
NO Romsey Associates do not charge a fee if you
would like to move to another hosting company.
Do Romsey Associates give free technical support?
Yes, but only for our customers for a limited period
of time.
What is an IP Address?
Every WWW web site has an (I)nternet (P)rotocol
address. It is used to locate your domain on The
Internet, and can be used to send data to your site
before The InterNIC has authorized your domain name.
Every Wired Account has its own IP address.

What programs do you use to design your Web sites?
At Romsey Associates our designers are very familiar
with all Design programs currently on the market,
but they mainly focus on Macromedia Dreamweaver
